Marine Layer Brick with Tan Contrast Varsity Rib Polo

I reached for this polo a lot because it hits that sweet spot of relaxed and put-together. The contrasting rib on the collar and sleeves gives it a standout look without trying too hard, and the open Johnny collar adds a bit of a retro, almost 70s vibe that drew a bunch of compliments. It’s a lightweight knit (60% cotton, 40% TENCEL modal), so it feels comfortable in warm weather and doesn’t feel heavy or stiff. Fit-wise, the classic/regular cut felt right in my usual size—easy through the body without being boxy. The raglan sleeves move well, and overall it wears like a true everyday polo with something extra. Quality felt excellent; it looks well made and the details come across nicely in person. A couple of small notes: the style leans sporty-vintage, and the color/contrast won’t be everyone’s first pick. Also, fit can vary by body type—some people might find the sleeves or shoulders a touch snug or the length a bit off, depending on torso length. But for me, it delivered exactly what I wanted: a comfortable, lightweight polo with unique character that’s easy to dress up or down and gets noticed for the right reasons.
