These Johnston & Murphy dark wash jeans hit that sweet spot between polished and easygoing. The dark blue looks clean and classy, and the straight-leg cut gives them a timeless feel. What surprised me most was how comfortable they are—there’s a nice bit of stretch that moves with you, and the denim feels soft right out of the box. I’ve thrown them on with everything from a tee to a button-up and they always look put together. Quality-wise, they feel solid and well made, with the classic five-pocket look that never tries too hard. Fit was a win for me—secure at the waist and clean through the legs without being baggy.
