These Bonobos Navy Slim 2.0 chinos quickly became a go-to for me. The solid navy is clean and easy to match, and they work just as well with a button-down at the office as they do for a night out. The slim cut feels modern—on the skinnier side of slim—but still comfortable. They sit smoothly through the hips, seat, and legs, and the bit of stretch helps the waistband feel secure without pinching. Overall quality feels excellent; the fabric holds its shape and, to my surprise, doesn’t wrinkle as much as I expected. The length can run a touch long, and the waist may feel snug for some. The fabric can also feel a little stiff or synthetic at first, but that hasn’t changed how wearable they are day to day. All in, these are reliable, good-looking chinos I keep reaching for—great color, sharp silhouette, and they pair with pretty much anything. Versatile enough for business casual, smart casual, or everyday wear, and easy to dress up or down. I’m already considering another color because this pair just works.
