Selected Homme Oatmeal Knitted Open V Polo

This Selected Homme polo won me over fast. The solid oatmeal/tan color and open V, buttonless collar look clean without trying too hard, and it dresses up or down easily. I’ve worn it to work and out to dinner with pants and white sneakers, and it just works. The lightweight knit feels comfortable when it’s warm, and the regular fit sits nicely—on me it’s a touch relaxed in a good way. I liked it enough that I immediately wanted more like this. Quality has been excellent for most wears, and the cotton-linen blend (65% organic cotton, 35% linen) feels breathable. I did need to steam a few wrinkles the first time, but once smoothed out, it held its shape well. The style surprised me—in a good way—even though I wouldn’t have normally picked a buttonless polo. For what it’s worth, fit can vary by body type: a few folks found it a bit loose or had length preferences (longer vs. shorter). And while most loved the look, a couple people felt the knit could read thin or stretch and the color wasn’t everyone’s favorite. For me, though, it’s a versatile, comfortable staple that looks sharp for the office, weekend plans, or a night out without feeling fussy.
